The Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Initiative (YEEI) program is being implemented Indonesia Business Links in cooperation with the International Youth Foundation. The program is implemented in Indonesia as part of the Education and Employment Alliance (EEA) under a Cooperative Agreement with the Asia Near East Bureau of USAID.
YEEI partially funds innovative programs that promote employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth between the ages of 18-24. It focuses on establishing public-private partnerships between local NGOs and local and international corporations. More information on YEEI can be obtained by contacting yeei@ibl.or.id.

Various projects that are already receiving or are approved to receive assistance under YEEI include:
- Livelihood recovery and promotion project, in partnership with GAP and Yayasan KAKAK, assisting youth to become tempe chips entrepreneurs and generating additional income and new employment in Yogyakarta;
- Capacity building and sustainable economic empowerment project for coastal communities in West Java, in partnership with BP Indonesia, KUD Mina Bahari, Bina Swadaya, and local governments;
- An Eco-tourism project in East Kalimantan and Bali that helps female entrepreneurs produce fishery based food products and trains youth in tourism service skills;
- Entrepreneurship and employment training projects for youth in Imogiri and Jakarta in partnership with GEPOI and PJI; and
- Entrepreneurship project training youth in Pati to become efficient chicken farm operators in partnership with CREATE and local corporations.
