National Workshop on CSR: “Kontribusi Dunia Usaha Dalam Pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan”
The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) is encouraging the contribution of the business sector to achieve the sustainable development goals which prioritize the importance of conserving the natural environment and social justice for all and future generations.
On November 29, 2017, KADIN held a National Workshop on CSR Concern and Business Competition. “Private sector are responsible for encouraging the economic growth with consideration of enviromental and social aspects. Beforehand, business sector have known triple bottom line concept or People Planet Profit. Currently there are 5 “P” we have to pay attention to, which are People, Planet, Partnership, Peace and Prosperity. That is the key to the concept of sustainable development”, said Mrs. Suryani Motik, Vice Chairman of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) on CSR Concern and Business Competition.
On those occasion, Mrs. Yanti Triwadiantini, Chairman of ASEAN CSR Network (ACN) on panel discussion explained the real meaning of CSR. She said, "Social Responsibility is the concern of all, not only just for the corporation".
The participants were attented from private sector and members of KADIN.
