Contribution of Non-Government Sector in Achieving Multi-Stakeholder Partnership on Sustainable Development Goals

Indonesia Business Links (IBL) together with other resource persons: INFID (International NGO Forum on Indonesian Development), Parahyangan University, and Kompas, describes the contribution of non-governmental sectors in realizing multi-stakeholder partnership in the national development process at the Ministry of PPN / Bappenas, Friday, January 26th, 2018.
The purpose of this process of public dialogue is to exchange lessons and knowledge that will be useful for drafting a policy paper on multi-stakeholder engagement in the field of international development cooperation.
The result of this dialogue is expected to be a policy paper with the theme of strengthening the contribution of multi-stakeholder partnership in the development process including the field of international development cooperation.
On the occasion, Mohamad Fahmi, the Executive Director of IBL explained the Private Role in Assisting the Achievement of National Development Targets. He pointed out that there are several approaches to how businesses can support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of them through ISO 26000. Referring to the Core Subject ISO 26000, that the role of the private sector in realizing SDGs cannot be alone, must be in partnership.
